How to get
We want to provide you with all the facilities and options to get to our lodge, here are some options:
Private Vehicle
This is the location to get to our lodge:
We recommend following the directions on google maps, as Waze has errors.
To get to our lodge from Quito, there are two ways: Through Machachi or through Selva Alegre (Sangolqui). We recommend the road through Machachi, since the cobblestone is in better condition. (For the route through Selva Alegre a 4×4 car is recommended)
From Machachi there are 17 km with sections of cobbled – asphalted – cobbled.
Public transport
You must get to MACHACHI by bus and then take a public bus or a local taxi from the main square in the direction of EL PEDREGAL. The cost of the taxi from Machachi to Chilcabamba is USD $20 approx.
The bus schedule is:
MACHACHI – PEDREGAL
7:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
PEDREGAL – MACHACHI
8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
TRANSFER IN
We offer this service with local taxis, who pick you up from the Airport, or from the address you indicate in Quito or surroundings. This service is reserved at least 24 hours in advance. Ask us about prices.
